Romantic Hues + NEW PRODUCTS!!

Hey guys!  For a few days I have had such an itch to shop, shop, shop!  In light of this, I had received amazing products that I had collaborated together, today.
First off, I had received the Marc Jacobs Lip Creme in Je T'Aime and it is GORG!

Now, it is for those with Golden undertones.  When I had gone to Sephora I was told I have neutral too pink undertones which was odd to me because any products I choose with this description make me look as if I am about to blow up- not a good look.

So, I have sought out on my own and discovered, "hey I'm really golden, man!".
With this is mind and knowing I ABSOLUTELY LOVEE the lip cremes by Marc Jacobs I decided to use their "red lip color" chart and pick my perfect red.
The chart-->

Here is how Je T'Aime looks swatched on my hand:

It gives that timeless red effect which I fancy very much so!

Along with my lip color I had received two new blushes one being the Too Faced Love Flush in Your Love is King and, the Hourglass blush in Radiant Magenta.

My favorite would have to be the "Your Love is King" blush- being that it has more pigment and longer staying power.  Yes, the Hourglass blush gives a beautiful flush however it is rather basic to me and quite comparable to the cheaper NARS blush in Orgasam.  In my opinion the Too Faced blush has a unique color to it and is matte which I adore!
Your love is king, Radiant Magenta.

On top of this I had also received a sample of the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector+Ultimate Coverage Creme in Banana.

Now, Instantly I saw a dramatic brightening effect however I felt the brightening corrector made my skin extremely cakey- and so did the concealer and bother highlighted all my pores.  This is a product I will not be investing in.

Bronzed Smokey Halo Inspired Makeup Tutorial+ New Mac Products Review

Hey guys! So recently I have been digging the "halo" eye trend and decided to put my own twist on it using a smokey eye method.  Yes, I have done SOOOO many neutral eyes lately however this is a different one (said like the last time).  In this tutorial I a) using one eyeshadow pallet and b) test out my new Mac products!!  Speaking of which I LOVE!!

The foundation I was recommended is the Studio Sculpt in NC15.  Normally, (as explained in my Youtube video) I am a NC20 however this foundation is known to run darker in color so I opted in for a lighter shade.  The lighter shade fit me perfectly and was the first foundation I could easily build up coverage on.  Not only did it blend like a dream and left NO streaks, it gave me the "glowing from within" look I was striving for. Despite this being so fabulous it wore off rather quick (6 hours).  I think this is due to the SPF in it...oh well.

I also picked up the pro longwear concealer in NC15.  Now, let me tell you it is DEFINITELY long ware.  In fact you should remove it with a waterproof makeup remover.  It tops my holy grail concealer which was Cover Fx's cream concealer in N extra light.  It not only covers better, it lasts longer which is a must for me!

Going onto more glow items, I picked up a highlighter or "mineralized skin finish" in lightscapade (I have been saying lightscape for a day now).  It gives a super glowy and subtle highlight to the face however, I would rather my BECCA Moonstoon highlighter as it is more reflective on camera.

Foundation rating: 9/10
Concealer rating: 10/10
Mineralized Skinfinish rating: 7/10

My skin looked baby smooth AND was super easy to build up coverage on!

Anastasia Waterproof Cream Colors| Coral Reef Motif Tutorial

Hey loves!  So the other day I had FINALLY received my Anastasia Waterproof Cream colors in the shades Coral Reef, and Sable.  Let me tell you- they're AMAZING!  Like.  I have never had such waterproof colors that are versatile.  For example, My Laura Mercier tighten cake liner stays absolutely NEVER.  These however, have the staying power of a stain (minus actually leaving color).  You will see that I used coral reef to tight line in the video.  I wore this for about 9 hours and in all honesty, everything looked identical to how it did this morning- minus the numerous lipstick applies.

To really test the staying power of these I decided to sleep with the swatches on my hand here is what the look like today, at 2:31 PM-

Considering these lasted a day and maintained pigment without flaking, that is pretty amazing and worth every penny!!

Look how incredible the orange/coral looks against my blue eyes!

Dainty Purple Smokes

Hey guys!  In all honesty I was contemplating posting this since its not as unique, however I figured why not.   It is super cute and pairs with most outfits, as I have observed.  Since this is a super soft makeup look falsies are not required in fact, I would just go with little wispy lashes towards the end of the eye for a more full look.  Sadly, I vacuumed my lashes...bye bye iconic...
So I was stuck with Siren by House Of Lashes.  Was it a bad thing? OF COURSE NOT!  They're freaking amazing!!! However, Iconic would look much daintier IMO.  At any rate, below is the details on products used... and mispronounced in my video.

Today I was feeling rather spicy and was feeling deprived of my red lips so, I decided to do a classic winged eyeliner look followed by RED LIPS!
Now before I post my video below I must explain the troubles I went through doing this makeup look.  Not only did the OCC lip tar constantly bleed, I overlies way to much and looked like a clown. Not a good look.  Despite me loving the lip tars, I do blame this on the lipliner I used because it tugged my lips tremendously and made them well...sticky.  At any rate, below is the video along with products used (:!

Deep Smoke

So, this is my first post on my fabulous new blog.  Might sound quite cliche being this journey has just begun however, you have to start somewhere!  Todays look I have not uploaded to my youtube however it was way too gorgeous to resist blogging about it!
Look how gorg!
This whole look came about primarily due to me going on a Ulta shopping spree...and maybe a Sephora geek get the idea!  At any rate, I had snagged some ABSOLUTELY AMAZING pigments from Nyx Cosmetics.  These pigments are only $2.00 each and at Ulta vary in price due to SALES. Yes. Sales. On AMAZINGLY. AFFORDABLE. JARS OF SHIMMER. The shades I had picked up are Nude, Rust, Mink, and Walnut. Not only do these have great staying power (with a primer) they have such unique shimmer to them with minimum fall out.
Okay. Enough with my bragging onto the good stufff

The products used are only specific to the eye area as the face isn't the main focus today however, I will towards the end post a photo, full faced, and a description of the products used.

Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original You can buy the product here by clicking this link!
Eyeshadow:  Base shade- Foxy from the Naked 2 pallet by Urban Decay You can purchase the product here however, any eggshell like shadow will do!
Transition shade- Makeup Geek Latte You can buy it here!
Crease shade- MUG (makeup geek) Mocha mixed with Mac's Brun MUG shadow Mac shadow
Inner corner- NYX Nude Clickk (:- This link works for all of the NYX pigments!
Mid lid- NYX Mink
Outer lid- NYX Rust
Inner V- NYX Walnut
Outer V- MUG Corrupt You can buy the matte black here!
Brows- Benefit Cosmetics Gimmie Brow in Light/Medium Click here to purchase
Lashes- House of Lashes "Siren" In love with these! They're super easy to apply too! Click to purchase.
Liner- MUG Immortal Gel Liner + Mac teddy in tear duct

Brush wise I stuck to a Mac 217 blending brush, a Mac 239 shader brush, a Mac 224 Tapered blending brush, and a 219 Pencil brush to smudge MUG Corrupt under my lashes and connect it with NYX pigment in Nude.
Despite this look not being your "everyday natural" look, it certainly is beautiful for any season, occasion, and clothing color scheme to be honest.  While it appears better suited for Autumn (as thats what inspired me...forget Summer haha), I have worn this eye look out and have found it makes the blue's and green's in my eye's pop dramatically!

Aside from this, here is how my full face looked with both eyes done!

On my skin I am wearing Smashbox photo finish primer with Nars Sheer Glow foundation in Gobi onto.  To conceal further imperfections I went in with Cover Fx concealer in N Extra Fair.  To set the concealer I used Bobbi Brown's powder foundation in Warm Ivory . Next, I used Hoola bronzing powder by Benefit Cosmetics on the tops of my cheeks, nose, and neck. To contour further I used Marc Jacobs Light Filtering Powders in Mirage Filter.  This way I did not look deathly pale I decided to go into the new Too Faced Love Flush blush in Baby Love.  Finally, to highlight I used Becca Cosmetics in Opal and set my face with Bare Minerals Mineral Veil.

All in all this is a super sultry look with loads of bronzy aspects to it.  In the future I might upload a video on this however for now it remains a blog post(:
